This morning, I signed the Request for Certification papers to become the first Certified Campaign Finance Fund Candidate of the 2008 Portland City Council election. I was notified yesterday that the County Elections Division and City Auditor's Office have verified we documented receiving at least 1001 $5 contributions from registered Portland voters, on 100% accurate forms. Those were in the 1023 forms delivered by 12/24. We turned in another 42 forms received since then, along with the Request for Certification.
